Background: 
Founded in April 1994, The Humsafar Trust (HST) is India’s first community-based organization (CBO) of self-identified homosexual men, MSM, Hijras and LBT persons. The HIV interventions of HST are supported by National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) and Mumbai District AIDS Control Society (MDACS) to provide health services to Men who have sex with men (MSM) and Transgender communities every year through Public Health Care delivery systems and its In-house clinics. HST organises advocacy workshops for health care provides, law enforcement agencies, judiciary, legislators, politicians and political parties, Government bodies, media, student community to sensitise them on Gay, MSM and TG issues. HST also provides legal support, crisis management, mental health and nutrition counselling to its communities.

The Humsafar Trust has been awarded the Sub recipient of the Global fund Project, “Reaching the Missing Million – A virtual approach”. This project aims to fast-track national HIV response to reach first 95 targets, by reaching key populations (high risk groups, at risk adolescents and youth, men, and women with high-risk behaviors) through virtual platforms. Main Job Responsibilities

  1. Support the implementation of the monitoring and evaluation plans of the project.
  2. Contribute to the implementation and review of effective monitoring, review and activities for programs against agreed project deliverables.
  3. Responsible for data quality assessment, accurate reporting, and data validation
  4. Work with other members of the team to liaise with partners in preparing and submitting program and other reports on a timely basis, as required, for internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Provide timely feedback on program reports and other documents relating to programs
  6. Maintain up to date accurate records on MIS data and program indicators at all levels.
  7. Continually assess progress update against targets of the program
  8. Support the compilation of information, including workshop reports, quarterly and annual reports and review and re-planning reports.
  9. Support the development of tools and resources for use by partners in monitoring.
  10. Support in implementation of online CMIS for program
  11. Support in systems and procedures to ensure donor compliance.
  12. MIS data analysis and feedback to partners to enhance the quality of programs.
  13. Support in baseline, midline and endline assessment processes
  14. Support the development of M&E capacity building plans for needs identified.
  15. Provide support to the delivery of capacity building programs.
  16. Assist in managing any relevant external technical support that may be required for programs and partner NGOs.
  17. Liaison with SACS, TSUs, DAPCU and other development partners in coordination and data sharing

Time Involvement
The M&E Officer will devote 100% time (8 hours x 5 days every week) to the organization. The M&E officer report to the M&E Manager

Compensation Offered:
We are an equal pay employer. Compensation offered is at par with market rate.
